Connected Vehicle Study Expanding to Dublin

DriveOhio’s connected vehicle technology research study, Connected Marysville, is expanding to Dublin residents. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and DriveOhio are equipping residents in The Beta District with connected vehicle technology to study the potential safety benefits.

Connected vehicles communicate wirelessly with other vehicles on the road and infrastructure along roadways, sharing important safety and mobility information and generating anonymous data about how, when and where vehicles travel. Drivers equipped with CV technology will receive safety alerts for potential hazards like a red-light violation, pedestrian ahead, curve speed advisory and a lane closure warning.

Through this research study, participants will provide important safety information to benefit other communities across Ohio and the nation. Eligible drivers can receive no-cost vehicle safety equipment and could earn up to $180. Take the survey today to see if you’re eligible at connectedmarysville.com.
